Dubai Expo 2020 Site – Magical City

The city where the magic of EXPO will live.

As Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced today the opening of a new city – Expo City Dubai – on October 1, 2022 at the site of the World Expo.

It will become an environmentally friendly and high-tech city focused on families and future generations.

The Surreal Falls, Garden in the Sky Observatory, Al Wasl Plaza, Terra Pavilion, Alif Mobility, UAE and Women Pavilion will also operate.

The new Expo 2020 Dubai Museum, a world-class exhibition center and headquarters for cutting-edge and fast-growing companies, will be unveiled. The pavilions of Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt and other countries will continue to be open. “It will be a dream destination for every city,” Sheikh Mohammed added.

Expo City Dubai is already attracting interest from many commercial tenants. It will soon become the new headquarters of DP World, Siemens, as well as start-ups, SMEs.

The city will not use single-use plastic and will retain 80% of its infrastructure and buildings.
